Stephen Cooper October 25, 1925- January 17, 2010- Stephen Cooper, 84, of High Top Rd., Voluntown, died on Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Villa Maria Nursing and Rehabilitation in Plainfield. He was born on October 25, 1925 in Providence, RI, son of the late Natalie (Phillips) Cooper and the late Andrew Cooper. Mr. Cooper graduated from Harvard University in 1949 with a bachelor’s degree and was employed as a software engineer at Honeywell. In addition, Mr. Cooper served in the Navy during World War II. He married Jeanette Jacob in October of 1953 in Cincinnati, OH; she survives him. He also leaves three sons: Stephen Cooper of Newton, MA, Alan Cooper of Dracut, MA, and Greg Cooper of North Cape May, NJ; four grandchildren, Anna, Tess, Josh, and Ben Cooper.
